Poraj Meeting: Human Rights On Camera, Greek contributions
ARTICLE Nr 27:
The RIGHT to participate in the CULTURAL LIFE of COMMUNITY
At the International Book Fair in Zappeion Megaron, Athens minorities are exhibiting books in their languages
-Everyone enjoys the right to easily access the world literature since the price of most books less than 5 euro.-


Street Youth Comedy Theatre, Metaxourgeio, Athens
-A street theatre performance organized by some young students, shows the need to express feelings through art can always be satisfied as long as there is strong individual initiative. This fosters equal participation in culture despite financial difficulties.-

Unicef United for Syrian Kids Kiosk, Nationa, Athens
UNESCO and the 'Lonely Planet' Publishers organized a Syrian book exhibition in order to help the Syrian plague victims. The kids of the Syrian visitors of the exhibition were also offered papers to draw and colour pictures showing in this way their solidarity to the kids in Syria.
